Yala Peak (5,732 m) a famous ‘trekkers climbing peak’ is located 19 miles north of Kathmandu in Langtang region. Yala Peak is for beginner adventure climber and trekkers who would like to experience peak climbing and be on one summit in Nepalese Himalayas. Yala peak soars right next to Tibet border and outstanding view of Mt. Shishapangma (8046 m) Langtang Lirung (7,246 m) ,Gang Chempo (6,388 m) and Dorje Lakpa.  In fact, one of the border mountain ridge of Yala Peak, connected with Tibet. Yala peak climbing is non-technical, comfortable adventure and suited for everyone who has good physical fitness and trekking experiences. The nearby Tserko Ri (4984 m) and Kanjing Ri (4600 m) are perfect acclimatization before ascend Yala Peak climbing in Nepal.

Early morning take a scenic drive from next to central bus station, through terraced farming field with thatched roofed typical villages and fabulous Himalayan sceneries takes to tail head Dhunche (1,950 m) Yala peak climbing trekking route ascends gradually through the rhododendron and oak forest. There are plenty of opportunities to get acclimatization and feel wilderness with the tolerable efforts. Our trail passes along Tamang and Tibetan settlement with their cultural diversities and living styles. The Gompas (monasteries) Chortens and Mani Walls with beautiful colorful prayer flags are another attraction of the trek. The huge meadows, glaciers and uninhabited Langtang upper alpine valley creates meditation environment. Our journey to Yala Peak climbing leads from Kanjing Gompa (3850 m) and settle camp in a meadow at 4800 meters. Last 400 meters before summit,  has ice and will be summit using our climbing equipment: Ice-axe, crampons and rope. Return to Base Camp and back to Kanjing gompa same day.

Returning route of Yala peak climbing, follows the downstream of Langtang Khola retracing to Lama Hotel. Here is alternative route to via Lauribinayak Pass (4900 m) to extend your trek entirely. Langtang itself less touristy comparatively Everest and Annapurna Region. This Yala peak climbing makes the trip more remarkable in adventure life.

Take 9hrs a scenic drive from Kathmandu along Trishuli River Valley to Syabrubesi(1503m) North of Kathmandu via Dhunche village.

Day 04:

5hrs trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2410m). Walk along the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola via Bamboo, which is famous for red Panda.

Day 05:

6hrs trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang(3430m) via Ghodatabela.

Day 06:

5.5hrs trek from Lantang to Kyanjin Gumba (3830m)

Day 07:

Acclimatizing rest at Kyanjin Gumba and visit visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyanjin Ri (4350m)

Day 08:

7hrs trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m).

Day 09:

6hrs Yalla Peak summit trek and return to base camp (4800m).

Day 10:

5hrs trek from Yala Peak Base Camp to Kyanjin Gumba(3830m).

Day 11:

4hrs trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2410m).

Day 12:

6hrs trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi(1600m) via Sherpagaon.

Day 13:

8hrs drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu (1350m) by bus or car and transfer to hotel.

Day 14:

Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath); Farewell-Celebration dinner in the evening.

Day 15:

Transfer to the airport for final departure or alternatively join other activities.

We trek 6hrs from Lama Hotel to Langtang(3430m) via Ghodatabela. At Ghodatabela (3000m), the trail emerges from the forest; teahouse accommodation.

 

Day 06:

5.5hrs trek from Lantang to Kyanjin Gumba (3830m)

We trek 5.5hrs from Lantang to Kyanjin Gumba (3830m); we should arrive at Kyanjin at lunchtime, giving us time to acclimatize and explore the area; teahouse accommodation.

 

Day 07:

Acclimatizing rest at Kyanjin Gumba and visit visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyanjin Ri (4350m)

7hrs trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m)

Day 09:

6hrs Yalla Peak summit trek and return to base camp (4800m)

5hrs trek from Yala Peak Base Camp to Kyanjin Gumba(3830m)

We trek 5hrs from Yala Peak Base Camp to Kyanjin Gumba(3830m); teahouse accommodation.

 

Day 11:

4hrs trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2410m)

We trek 4hrs from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2410m); teahouse accommodation

 

Day 12:

6hrs trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi(1600m) via Sherpagaon

We trek 6hrs from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi(1600m) via Sherpagaon, a hydropower project with Chilime Hydropower Power Plant. The main inhabitants of this area belong to the Tamang community.

 

Day 13:

8hrs drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu (1350m) by bus or car and transfer to hotel
