Lobuche Peak, lying near the Khumbu Glacier and south-west of Everest, is one of the preferable choices for peak climbing adventures in Nepal. There are two main Peaks: Lobuche east (6,145m) and Lobuche West (6,119m). Lobuche East is our ultimate destination which offers the amazing view of Khumbu Glacier, Khumbu Valley and the fabulous panoramic view of colossal snow capped giants including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam and many others. Lobuche Peak climbing can be an ultimate choice for the mountain lovers to fulfill the quest of conquering the summit of the Himalayan Peak in a short time interval. Climbing Lobuche peak provides a wholesome experience in the Khumbu region as your summit journey incorporates the trek to the foot of Highest Peak i.e. Everest Base camp, and Kalapatthar, which is the ultimate vantage point to have a close up view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and various other colossal mountains.
After the sightseeing tour in the various ancient cultural Heritage sites in Kathmandu, an early morning flight from the domestic airport in Kathmandu takes us all the way to Luka, popularly known as Gateway to Everest. From there we start our trekking journey walking through various small settlements of local Sherpas, who carry the legacy of mountaineering profession. We walk via Namche-Tengboche-Dingboche-EBC-Kalapatter following the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing Norgay on their quest to Everest summit. We reach Everest base camp and Kalapattar and return to Lobuche, from where we head to Lobuche Base Camp and conquer our quest to the Lobuche Peak. The return is made through the same route. The journey to Lobuche Peak incorporates the walk through the steep snowy trails, so ropes shall be fixed in the open and demanding sections. Our Sherpa guides will provide you the necessary mountaineering training on the use of ropes and crampons.
