Everest Panorama View Trek takes you as high as 3,860m to Tengboche, a beautifully nestled Sherpa hamlet with the stunning ridge monastery having a striking backdrop of Mt. Amadablam. The trek provides you a great opportunity to view the majestic Everest from several positions onwards Namche.
Everest is known as the “Goddess Mother of Earth”, Sagarmatha in Nepalese dialect. The region is the heartland of the Sherpa, residing in the beautiful landscapes of Solukhumbu. After the first expedition of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953, Everest is on the bucket list of enthusiasts, thrill seekers, adventurer, nature lover in all of us.
This is a short and scenic trek, which offers superb sights of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and many other snowy peaks. On this trek, we explore the Khumbu region and trek up to Namche Bazar, Tyangboche, and into the Khumjung village, which is a charming Sherpa settlement. This trek also provides a splendid introduction to Sherpa country, its culture, and marvelous mountain sceneries.
This trek best suits those who do not have time for the longer treks and also suits those who prefer a less physically and mentally challenging trek.

Fly to Lukla (40 min) and trek to Phakding (2,610m), 3-4 hours
Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 5-6 hours
Acclimatization Namche – Khumjung Hiking and return back to Namche Bazaar
Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m), 5-6 hours
Trek Tengboche to Khumjung Village (3,789m), 4-5 hours
Trek Khumjung Village to Phakding (2,610m), 4-5 hours
Trek Phakding to Lukla (2,840m), 3-4 hours

Arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu
You are greeted with a warm welcome from our staff at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Then you have whisked away to your hotel in private transportation where our guide will brief on the programs on days ahead.
Preparation Day for trekking
Today, we get ready for the trekking as well as we also take enough rest.
Kathmandu to Lukla-via flight to Phakding (3,792m,) 2-3 hours
After breakfast, we will take an early morning flight to Lukla, situated at the elevation of 2860 meters. This town has plenty of shops and lodges catering to trekkers with western style meals and trail supplies. This marks as the beginning of our trek to Everest Base Camp.
Having crossed a gateway with a painted message, the path is generally downhill forwards. You will encounter breathtaking views of Kusum Kanguru Peak on Thulo Khola suspension bridge. From there the trail will take 2-3 hours walk to arrive at Phakding, a quiet and easy to explore village where you will be catered to your first outdoors dinner.
Phakding trek to Namche (3,440m,) 5-6 hours
A forest of blue pine along the western banks of Dudh Koshi river accompanies you to your destination of Benkar village. The trail then crosses the eastern banks of Dudh Koshi river beside a large rock etched with Buddhist prayers, the classic Mani Wall. After twenty minutes, we will reach the village of Chumao.
Next passages on the trail will be less steeply to climb, crisscrossing through Bhote Koshi on the way to reach Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) taking about 7 hours of time. The world famous trekking village of Namche settled in the Sagarmatha National Park will greet you with the views of Red Musk Beer and Himalayan Thar along with scared mountains of Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, and Khumbila.
Rest day at Namche
While the demanding climb up from the river to Namche is about 3-4 hours, many of us might not do well at the elevation of 3,440 meters. Thus it is recommended that we stay one night in the village of Namche to acclimatize. During our rest day at Namche, we will take an excursion to the Everest Viewpoint Hotel and Edmund Hillary Viewpoint.
Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,860m,) 5-6 hours
With a course towards Tengboche situated at an altitude of 3,860m. The main attraction not only includes the view of Cholatshe, Island Peak, and Lobuche Peak. But also of the monastery of Tengboche where each year in the months of November and December’s full moons, Mani Rimdi festival is celebrated. From there, it will take only 4-5 hours to reach Periche where we will rest.
Trek from Tengboche to Khumjung Village (3,789m), 4-5 hours
After the breakfast in Tengboche, we return half-way back to Namche Bazaar. Then, we start our hike up to the largest Khumbu settlement of the valley, Khumjung village. From Khumjung village, a stupendous view of Mt Everest can be seen and in the evening we explore around the Khumjung Village.
Trek Khumjung Village to Phakding (2610m), 4-5 hours
We descend first to Namche Bazaar and then continue our way back down the valley by walking steeply along the Dudh Kosi river and we reach Monjo and after crossing the river several times we reach Phakding.
Trek Phakding to Lukla (2840m), 3-4 hours
Today we trek back to Lukla, and today it takes 3-4 hours to reach Lukla. On the way, you will be crossing suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi and its many tributaries alongside rhododendron and lush greenery of pine forests.
Fly back to Kathmandu (1337m) 30 – min.
We will be going to Kathmandu through Lukla airport. On the way, you’ll be receiving the pleasant farewell from the sights of entire Himalayan range, east to the center part till the Langtang Himalayan range. You will be whisked away to Thamel after your arrival at the domestic terminal, afterward, there will be post trek meeting with feedback section to share your experience and thoughts on the trek
