Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek
Pamper your senses to the snow-capped mountains, a wide variety of flora and fauna, deep river gorges, the magnificent Annapurna base camp trek. The trek is a brew of delightful Annapurna mountain region where can admire Annapurna 1, Annapurna3, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome and Fish Tail Mountain (Macchapuchhare).
Not only this trek is famous domestically but appeals to trekkers, hikers, global trotters, adventurer, outdoor enthusiasts alike. This trek allows even the busiest of us to enjoy this spectacular mountain range in short time span.
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m)
Day 02: Kathmandu drive to Pokhara (6-7 hours)
Day 03: Pokhara Drive to - Siwai (BY BUS) - Jhinu Danda (Trek starts) (4 -5hours)
Day 04: Jhinu Trek to Bamboo (2310m),5-6 hours
Day 05: Bamboo trek to Deurali (3230m), 5-6 hours
Day 06- Deurali trek to A.B.C. via M.B.C. (4130m), 5-6 hours
Day 07: A.B.C trek to Bamboo (2310m) 6-7 hours
Day 08: Bamboo trek to Jhinu Danda (1780m), 4-5 hours
Day 09: Jhinu Danda trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara
Day 10: Pokhara drive to Kathmandu
Day 11: KTM to home country.
Our representative will be at airport with your name card. Once you grab him you will be heartily welcomed by him putting garland on your neck which means welcome to Nepal. Then you will be driven to the hotel by car. Rest and enjoy the day around the Thamel.
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel at 6:30am and escort you to the bus station. The tourist bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7:30am. The scenery along the road is quite dramatic and you will see rivers, valleys, cascading rice terrace farms and rocky gorges. Upon arrival, you may check in at the hotel and in the evening, you may enjoy leisure boating on the scenic Fewa Lake and see the reflection of the Mount Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Range on the crystal clear water of the Lake.
The trail flows the Modi river through the rice field to New Bridge. Here you can observe out for the beehive of the famous honey hunters. From New bridge the trail begins to climb around the Kimrong Khola. The trail became a steep and slippery just before the Jhunu Danda(1780m). From Jhinu Danda the trail accent 400 m continuous to the Taglung village. It is one of the toughest sages in Annapurna sanctuary trek. The Chhomrong village 2170m one of the biggest Gurung settlement and the village home to many ex- Gurkha soldiers.
We descend via 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge above Chhomrong Khola. From here it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo
We continue our journey and reach Dovan shortlyWe make our first move with a gentle gradual ascent. Lush forests of oak, pines and rhododendron comes in our way. We walk through Hotel Himalayan and bridges over two streams. There are possibilities that we gain views of wild lives such as wild pigs, deer, and maybe even snow leopards. Our further path takes us to Deurali.
This beautiful day greets us with fresh rays of morning light. With a gradual climb, we go through some areas that are prone to avalanches. We need to be cautious and careful all the way. We shortly arrive at Bagar and make our ultimate destination to Annapurna Base Camp. This viewpoint offers breath taking views of Mount Machapuchhre. The route from Machapuchhre Base Camp, vegetation vanishes. This simply means that we have entered the area of snowy lands. Also will have entered the Annapurna Sanctuary which is a protected area in the Annapurna Himalaya Region. We plan out to trek until the Annapurna Base Camp.
We start our day with fresh morning rays of light. We then start our way with descends from Annapurna Base Camp. Passing through some of the most beautiful places of the country such as Deurali and Dovan, we trek until we reach Bamboo.
From Bamboo, we start our journey and climb the ascent to lower Chhomrong through Kuldi Ghar and Sinuwa. The elevation from lower region of Chhomrong takes us to the upper region of the place. We then further descend making our way to Jhinu Danda.
After having breakfast, we head towards Kyumi village where we will be having lunch there. Then to Syauli Bazaar and to Birethanti before reaching the familiar Naya Pool where we started our trek. We then board a car towards Pokhara which will take about an hour to hour and a half.
We weave the journey of this day by returning back to Kathmandu from the beautiful Pokhara. By this time of the entire trek, we will have spent a long period of unforgettable memories. It will have been one of the best holiday of your life.
Our staff will be ready to drive our customers to the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure.
